I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University in 2020.
I am interested in using artificial intelligence to support adaptive learning environments that embrace principles of universal design for learning. Specifically, my research involves the use of automatic speech recognition and natural language processing to analyze spoken communication and promote personalization and accessibility in learning environments. I am also passionate about increasing the participation of people with disabilities in computer science across all levels of academia and industry.
