I am currently a graduate student in the Department of Art + Design at North Carolina State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Animation and Game Design from the Living Arts College. My interest in how interactive storytelling can be used to teach people specific skills and impart upon them life lessons has lead me down the path of game design. During my undergraduate education, I focused on environmental modeling and character rigging.
For future endeavors, my research interests deal with conversion in religion. My goal is to research the visual culture of the Christianization of Scandinavia between 800AD and 1300AD. Through this practice–based research, I hope to discover patterns demonstrating a process in which a society can be altered into a different thought process and apply the findings to other mass conversions that transpired throughout time.
I hope my contributions at IntelliMedia will aid in creating learning experiences that will impact people in significant ways and improve the lives of my fellow man.
