I am a senior in the Art + Design undergraduate program with a focus on animation and digital media. I will graduate early with my degree in fall of 2017. Before coming to North Carolina State University, I completed an Associate in Arts degree at Wake Technical Community College, and all of those GEP credits are to thank for being able to graduate early at NCSU. As a junior at NCSU, I was graced with an opportunity to intern at IntelliMedia, and I plan to continue working with them as I transition from the undergraduate program to the graduate program starting in 2018. My focus is on both 2D and 3D media. I hope to become well rounded in both.
Outside of academics, my interests are deeply rooted in 2D fantasy and sci-fi character design, drawing, and storytelling. Video games, animated shows, anime, and films are what I grew up on, and I developed a connection to online gaming and art communities where my communication and freelancing experiences were born. At home, I am a part time freelancer, helping people of any age around the world visualize their ideas, concepts, and character designs.
During my time in the IntelliMedia group, I am learning how to wed design and purpose to my interests, and I have learned that it is a lifelong quest to do so. There is always something more to learn, to improve on and something new to try around every corner.
I am very blessed to be a part of IntelliMedia, and I hope that what I contribute to projects here makes a difference in the lives of people.
